FO Friday!

Taa Daa!!! The Self-Fringing Shawl is finished!! The ribbon yarn is very easy to work with - same as any other yarn. The only somewhat annoying part is that it does twist which creates that unique pattern - kind of like yarn that has the think/thick slubs to it, I guess... anyway, here it is. I apologize for the color distortion. We took the pic at night and the lamp seems to make it a bit more orange-y than it really is...

Finished shawl

On another FO, I was feeling kind of down, and decided to get my nails done to make myself feel better. Aren't they pretty?

  2. I didn't think as I was admiring the self-fringing shawl on Wednesday how sheerly cool the fringe was going to look in that ribbon yarn. I love it!!

I also love your nails, the flowers are so gorgeous and fun and very tropical-summery. :D

  3. The fringe is very interesting; it's got almost a western cowboy fringe kinda look. Cool!

  8. It turned out beautiful!!! Love the nails. I've actually never gotten my nails done professionally. As soon as they're painted, I chip one, so it would be money down the drain. LOL
