WIPW number 9

It's another Wednesday already and I am on another scarf for the craft show. This one is going to be a corkscrew scarf. I'm using a plain acrylic pink and a novelty fuzzy pink as the trim. I'm not 100% sure of what size it will end up, as I started it at camp and didn't have a pattern. So, if it turns out to be short, I'll sell it as a kid's scarf! I also didn't think about the project I was going to make and had no stitch markers on me so I improvised with blue masking tape that I looped together to make a ring. Craft-si-ness is alive and well here!! Hahaha!! So, without further ado, here is my work in progress for this week!

  1. I like your ingenious stitch markers ;) I've made them out of various things when I don't have a proper one handy - including drinking straws!

  11. Masking tape, huh? I use knotted loops of scrap yarn when I'm desperate.

  12. Awesome masking tape markers! The things we do for the love of the craft. :) A girl from my knitting group was using small needles the other night and actually got a straw and cut it into small pieces for stitch markers! LOL

    The scarf looks great.
