Squee Sunday post #7

I won another mystery prize!!! I had so much fun on lyndagrace's blog! The object was to finish her mystery story. She was so generous in her gift to me too! Can you believe all that she sent me?? Here it is, straight from the Jersey shore!!

First is sock yarn:

Then, a beautiful sea horse pin (that I will probably use for shawls):

A cool "Long Beach Island" hat (which I just realized I didn't take out of the bag to photograph it, but I'm too lazy to take another pic):

A really yummy scented soap (I wish you could smell through your screen!!! Such a fresh scent!):

A really cool shore postcard:

And, a continuation of the Mystery Story on beautiful, fancy printed paper!!!

This was just so much fun and so unexpected and exciting - two wins for me (Kathleen's and now Lynda's) - I think I need to have a contest and giveaway now just to share the kindness that has been shown to me. So, tell me your ideas of what you'd like (I have a ton of fancy Plymouth Yarn that I could send!!) and what suggestions you have.

For more Squees, visit Calophi on her blog!!

  1. Wow, wasn't expecting you to get all that stuff! I especially like the pin. Is the yardage on the sock yarn enough for two socks or a shawl?

I don't know what you should give away. Do you want to do a mystery one, or part mystery, or what? You do have a bunch of funky yarns that people (like me) would enjoy, but you don't want to make it a mystery and have people end up with a yarn they wouldn't ever use.

  2. The sock yard is 437 yds - definitely enough for two socks!! Yeah, maybe I should pick yarn that I want to give away and post the pics? But how should they win it?
