WIPW number 6

I finally went back and counted so I know what post I'm on!! I dragged out a UFO and decided to start working on it again. I don't know when I started it - last year maybe? I got very bored with the pattern and let it go... I actually forgot about it until someone in my knitting group was talking about Tili Thomas yarn and then asked what I ever did with my sequined red yarn. So, I found it and rescued it from what I guess was "time out," and began working on it again. The pic I have is one full skein finished and ready to start the second.

One skein morning surf

Here is a close up of the pattern (it's on my Rav page here):

Here is the pretty yarn:

For some odd reason, this one came out sideways...

  6. I still LOVE that yarn with that pattern. I'm sorry you don't like working on it. Maybe you can find a fancy black dress to wear it with when you're done and you'll feel better about it. :)

  14. That's a gorgeous yarn! How is this pattern to knit? I saw it last night but the yarn overs intimidate me a bit since I'm still such a newbie knitter.

  17. I picked up some lovely sequined yarn yesterday and cast on a shrug that is a very similar pattern as your scarf. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.

  18. Thanks everyone! @Sarah, it's very easy to knit with - the sequins do not get in the way at all. You just have to watch that you have both strands together since the sequins are on a skinny thread wrapped with the yarn. @venividivoom, the pattern is very easy - it just gets a bit boring...
