The SRC and the Mayor would have you believe that #teachers aren't getting a pay cut. They #fail to mention that $313.05 is being taken out of EACH paycheck for health care. That's quite a bit more than the 5% they claim they are taking. #Philadelphia is one of the lowest paid districts. I can speak for myself and my colleagues in saying that we work beyond the school day because we love our jobs and our students. Please support us so we can continue helping your children to be the best they can be. #supportteachers

Not one to post political posts, but it devastates me that the #media #lies to the public. They claim that #teachers are not taking a pay cut, yet they fail to mention that $313.05 will be taken out of EVERY paycheck for health benefits. How is taking over a $600 deduction a month in my pay not a pay cut?? Only Emma's face could put a smile on mine tonight. Time to change careers? #icantaffordthis #supportteachers
