WIPW number 13
Wow - Wednesday sure snuck up on me!! I do have one WIP to show though. Nothing clever to sa about this being my 13th post, but to me there isn't much significant with the number 13. No voodoo, no fear.... just another number....
So here is my WIP - it's (surprise) another scarf for the craft fair. I'm using Paton's Canadiana in a pretty turquoise color. It looks more blue in the pics but it's really more turquoise. I have it sort of hanging so you can see the way it twists. I'm using size US 15 needles and the pattern is from Lion Brand but I've adjusted it for the way I want it to lay, thank you Trudy for your suggestions!!!
Here is another pic of it laying out to see how it looks flat:
So, that's where I am this week with the days flying by!! For more WIP's, visit Tami!

That's such a pretty colour, and I like how you hung it up to show off how it curls, looks like it'll be fab when it's done :)
ReplyDeleteI really need to make this scarf. I wonder how it'd work with a fingering weight on a huge needle? Hmm...
ReplyDeleteThis look so wonderfully thick and warm. The colour is simply gorgeous as well. best of luck at the fair.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely colour - very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love that color.
ReplyDeleteOoohh that colour is so pretty! Can't wait to see the finished product, I love big chunky knits!
ReplyDeleteI really like the colour and giant squashy-ness of that scarf! I'd definitely want to pick it up off your table at a craft fair and wrap up in it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this, the chunkiness and the colour all really appeal to me!
ReplyDeleteStunning and super quick. That's my idea of an ideal project.
ReplyDeleteGreat colour! I love simple knits on big needles!
ReplyDeletePretty scarf. Those needles look like telephone pools compared to the needles I mostly knit with.
