WIPW number 12
I only have one WIP to share - the hat I was doing last week! Funny short story though, it was the end of our Tuesday knit night and I realized I needed a pic of it for today's post so I laid it on the arm of the sofa and snapped with my phone. My friend Trudy who has become my photography critic, laughed at me and made me pose it nicer. So, here are two pics. One obligatory:
I love seeing the skein in the "posed" picture, because I can't get enough of admiring how awesome this yarn is! I really like the way it's working up as a hat.
Very good, I like the comparison between the photos ;) Sometimes I rush my pictures too, but the nicely posed ones do lool a bit better, don't they?!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely colour, I was wondering what you are using?
ReplyDeleteI think the color showed better on your couch!
ReplyDeleteLooking really good, both pics!
ReplyDeletevery warm colour!
ReplyDeletenice job and I like both pictures!! lol
ReplyDeleteTrudy is the queen of posing and photography! Too bad she never comes to our blogs to look, haha. ^_~
ReplyDeleteAh, but she did! She left the comment under TMurray!
ReplyDeleteLove the hat! And the posed picture, well I have to admit much better!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty hat either way, but the posed picture is nicer eye candy :)
ReplyDeleteTrudy has a good eye for "posing" knitwear!
ReplyDeleteTrudy knows best. It looks wonderful. Love the colour.

ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting looking yarn; how is it to knit with ? :-)
ReplyDeleteThe yarn is gooooorgeous ....
ReplyDeleteI too take obligatory shots, then feel I should do something more artful!
It's not a problem at all! It's twists so it makes some interesting patterning of it's own...
ReplyDeleteIt's by Plymouth from their Italian collection. It's called "cielo" in color #8.
